3D Rooster
Method: The rooster is constructed around an oval core bead - like a beaded bead. It's made with one length of thread.
The torso, neck, and head are made with peyote stitch.
Begin on the base of the rooster & work up the body row-by-row towards the head. Insert the core bead when the body is half made. Then make the head, the tail, and the feet.

Beads Required:
- Size 11 or size 14 seed beads. To make a colorful leghorn, you will need these 11/0 seed beads: topaz, rust brown, black and an oilslick blue (TOHO higher metallic dragonfly is a nice choice) dark brown, and opaque red in both 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads.
- A big core bead - 8 or 9mm wide by 14mm long or a little core bead - 6 or 7mm wide by 9mm long - you can use wooden beads and wittle them down to size.
